Summer Camps

Green Gables Summer Camps are a sought-after camp for children 4 - 10 years old.  The Green Gables landscape comes ALIVE in the summer, and becomes a green, wild land full of life, insects, birds and budding fruiting trees.  Green Gables is the home of a beautiful garden scape with veggies, herbs, fruit trees and more.  Children are invited to learn and participate in garden activities, farm animal care, and good old summer fun. Green Gables has a gentle creek flowing through the property, large mature conifer trees, ash trees and gorgeous nooks where fairies appear, caterpillars roam, and butterflies are seen flitting and floating about.

Summer camps are a unique mixture of free summer play and integrated outdoor learning.  Green Gables offers children the ability to be drawn into their interest while feeling the freedom of play and participation.  Childhood learning is one that exists in their developing bodies, and formative inner spirit.  Ms. Rachel has the unique gift of guiding play to facilitate learning while children are in exploration and imagination.  She acts as educator, facilitator, tour guide and an always nurturing presence. By blending these different roles, children are able to play freely with their peers, and be strategically guided to witness, experience and explore wild imagination and natural phenomena. While nature is a primary emphasis, Rachel brings art and craft in weaving flower crowns, creating nature art or planting seeds. Ms. Rachel is an experienced gardener, naturalists and teacher.  Children are woven into projects and activities that brighten their minds, sooth their spirits and awaken their wonder.

2025 Camp Schedule: Camps are Monday-Thursday 9am-1pm and Friday 9am-1pm

All camps cost $400 per week except Memorial Day week (4 day) is $315

Camp Week 1: May 27-30 Tuesday-Thursday 9am-3pm and Friday 9am-1pm

Camp Week 2: June 2-6

Camp Week 3: June 9-13

Camp Week 4: June 16-20

Camp Week 5: June 23-27

Camp Week 6: June 30- July 4

Camp Week 7: July 7-11

Children need to come each day with a full water bottle, plenty of snacks, and a hearty lunch.
